2026 K-SAIL Korean Language Program
(KMOU – Special Program for AMFUF & International Learners)
The 2026 K-SAIL Korean Language Program is a 6-month Korean language and cultural program hosted by Korea Maritime & Ocean University (KMOU) in Busan, South Korea. The program offers beginner-level Korean language courses, cultural immersion activities, and exposure to campus life and maritime-related institutions, with full tuition and on-campus dormitory support provided by KMOU.

- 1st Semester: March 3, 2026 (Tue) – May 12, 2026 (Tue)
- 2nd Semester: June 1, 2026 (Mon) – August 7, 2026 (Fri)(Each semester runs for 10 weeks)

âś… Eligibility
- Applicants must be able to apply for a D-4 visa
- Applicants must be able to enroll for 6 months
đź“„ Required Documents
- Application form *with photo attached (Download Form)
- Recommendation letter from Kaprodi/WD III/Academic Advisor. (Free format)
- Motivation Letter (explaining the applicant’s interest and goals for joining the program)
- High school graduation certificate *with consular authorization or apostille
- Bank balance certificate (minimum balance: 8,000,000 KRW; applicant’s own account is acceptable)
- If the account is under a parent’s name, additional documents are required: parent’s employment/income certificate and a family relationship certificate
- Copy of the applicant’s valid passport
- Copy of Student ID
- Academic Transcript
- English Proficiency Certificate or other supporting document indicating the applicant’s English proficiency
**Original copies of the above documents must be submitted when applying for the D-4 visa.

- Tuition Fee: Fully covered by KMOU
- Dormitory Fee: Fully covered by KMOU,
- Expenses covered by students: visa, health insurance, meals, textbooks, and personal expenses

- Students submit all required documents to the UKDW International Office by January 19, 2026.bit.ly/appOutboundUKDW
- UKDW International Office will review all applications and conduct an internal selection process.
- Selected candidates will be officially nominated by UKDW to KMOU.
- KMOU will conduct the final review and selection, and the final results will be announced by KMOU directly to the applicants.
- Successful applicants will receive an Admission Letter from KMOU, which is required for the D-4 visa application.
