
GlobEEs 2026 in Taiwan
We are pleased to invite UKDW students to apply for Global Education Experiences (GlobEES) 2026, an international program hosted by Chang Jung Christian University, Taiwan. This program offers a valuable opportunity to gain international exposure through academic activities and cross-cultural engagement with students from various countries. Participants will enhance their global perspectives, intercultural communication skills, and academic insights through collaborative learning and cultural exchange.
GlobEES 2026 offers an immersive learning experience in Taiwan that integrates academic activities, cultural exploration, language learning, and sustainability awareness. Participants will gain deeper insight into Taiwan’s history, traditions, and local way of life through guided tours, hands-on workshops, and cultural experiences, while developing global perspectives and intercultural communication skills through collaborative learning.
The program includes Mandarin language classes and close interaction with Chang Jung Christian University students, fostering meaningful cross-cultural exchange. Centered on the theme Local Action for Environmental Sustainability, the program encourages participants to explore the connection between environmental issues and everyday life from a local perspective. Through cultural engagement and community-based experiences, students will reflect on sustainability and its relevance to their own communities.

Program Time: May 3 to May 16, 2026
Eligibility
- Active UKDW student
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Open-minded, highly motivated, and adaptable to new environments
- Willing to contribute to and represent UKDW upon selection
Program Fee:
- Program fee including accommodation, meals, and local transport in Taiwan during the program is covered.
- Participants are responsible for covering their round-trip airfare (Indonesia–Taiwan) & personal expenses.
- UKDW will provide subsidies for visa and travel insurance
