In recognition of its efforts to advance tax awareness in education and in celebration of Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day, the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), through its Regional Office in Yogyakarta, has awarded the Edu Tax Award to institutions making significant contributions to tax awareness. Among the recipients was the Tax Center at Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta, honored for its commitment to promoting tax education within higher education.
The award was presented during the Pajak Bertutur 2024 event, held on August 7, 2024, at SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. The Pajak Bertutur program aims to enhance tax awareness and foster strong relationships with educational stakeholders.
Dra. Putriana Kristanti, MM., Akt, CA, Head of UKDW’s Tax Center for 2024, received the award on behalf of the center.
