
UKDW Strengthens Scholarship Collaboration with YPKAAR and YABN
YOGYAKARTA, July 2, 2025 — Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) welcomed representatives from the A&A Rachmat Service Foundation (YPKAAR) and the Amanah Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN) to reinforce their partnership in student development and scholarship support.
The meeting, held at UKDW’s Harun Hadiwijono Seminar Room, focused on strengthening synergies in education and expanding scholarship opportunities. UKDW Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Parmonangan Manurung, expressed gratitude for the long-standing support, emphasizing that scholarship recipients are expected not only to excel academically but also to contribute positively to society.
“Success is not just personal achievement, but when you help others succeed as well,” Dr. Parmonangan said in his address to the students.
YABN representative Albert Putro highlighted the foundation’s strategic transformation in line with the restructuring of PT Adaro Energy, positioning students as agents of change within their communities. Meanwhile, YPKAAR’s Josephine Rahardjo reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to community empowerment through education and social welfare.
During the event, YPKAAR presented scholarship decision letters to 25 selected students for the 2025/2026 academic year and awarded Hangudi Widya Hutama of UKDW as Outstanding Scholarship Coordinator.
