We are pleased to inform you that our partner university in Taiwan, Tunghai University, has opened the registration for the 2024 Tunghai University Language and Culture Summer Program.
Program Period: July 7 to July 27, 2024
Eligibility
- The program is open to students currently enrolled in any of Tunhgai’s partner universities and who have been recommended by their respective faculty.
- The program is open to students who possess a beginner’s or an intermediate level of Chinese language ability i.e., students who have successfully passed the 3rd level of the TOCFL or HSK. Students with the 4th level of TOCFL will be highly likely to feel the Chinese class is too easy.
Program Fee:
- USD 2300 (Early Bird)
- USD 2400 (Regular)
Coverage of program fee: including the fees for registration, accommodation, Chinese language courses, culture classes, and field trips.
Not covered by program fee: flight tickets, visa, meals, and other personal expenses
Payment Deadline: May 21, 2024

Number of participants: 26 – 40 students
** If the participants are fewer than 26 students, the program will be canceled (Tunghai University will inform university coordinators that the summer program will not be held around mid-May).

- Student ID Card
- Passport (can be submitted later, but we recommend to get a passport as soon as possible)
- Head-shot Photo
- Statement Letter signed by the student and his/her parents or guardian (download template)
- Nomination Letter from your Department/Faculty (download template)
- Academic Transcript
Deadline for Early Bird: February 26, 2024
Deadline for Regular: April 1, 2024
**We strongly suggest you register as early as possible because the host university might close the nomination earlier if the nominated students have reached 40 students in total.
Step 2: After you receive notification from OIA, complete the online application form before April 23, 2024 (Early Bird) and April 30, 2024 (Regular). The link will be sent to your email by OIA.
