Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing educational excellence through strategic collaboration with Yayasan Winayabhakti Solo. This partnership was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the UKDW Rectorate Office.
The agreement underscores UKDW’s mission to expand its impact in educational service across Indonesia. The MoU was signed by Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih, S.T., M.T., Rector of UKDW, and Sr. Veronica Sri Andayani, OSU, Chairperson of Yayasan Winayabhakti Solo. The event also included the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between M.M. Wahyu Utami, M.Pd., Principal of SMA Regina Pacis (a school under the foundation), and Veronica Tiara, S.Kom., CPS, Head of Admissions and Promotion at UKDW. The ceremony was attended by Rev. Wahju Satria Wibowo, Ph.D., UKDW Vice Rector for Human Resource Development, Promotion, and Partnerships.
This collaboration reflects a shared vision to foster a competitive and resilient young generation. Under the partnership, UKDW faculty members will contribute to SMA Regina Pacis through knowledge-sharing initiatives, including IT training and mental health seminars for both students and teachers. The agreement also opens opportunities for joint programs that strengthen the integration of academic, emotional, and social development.
UKDW Rector expressed optimism about the long-term impact of the partnership. “This collaboration is a manifestation of our commitment to contribute meaningfully to secondary education. It aligns with our role in fulfilling the Three Pillars of Higher Education—education, research, and community service—and we are eager to support through our flagship academic programs,” she stated.
Sr. Veronica Sri Andayani, OSU, extended her gratitude for the tangible support UKDW has provided. “The programs offered by UKDW have been highly valuable and instrumental in human resource development within our community,” she said.
M.M. With this agreement, we are even more confident in deepening this synergy,” she added.
