UKDW Students Join Tax Volunteer 2020

UKDW students were among 195 tax volunteers who will assist taxpayers in filling out the electronic tax form (e-filing) at several Tax Offices (KPP) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta: KPP Pratama Yogyakarta, KPP Pratama Sleman, KPP Pratama Bantul, and KPP Pratama Wates. The inauguration of Tax Volunteer 2020 was held on Friday, 21 February 2020 at Regional Office of Directorate General of Taxes of Yogyakarta (Kanwil DJP DIY).

The volunteers vowed and signed the Code and Conduct, witnessed by the Head of Kanwil DJP DIY, Dionysius Lucas Hendrawan. He asked all volunteers to do their duty with integrity and stressed that volunteers are not allowed to receive rewards from taxpayers for their assistance. 

The volunteers from Tax Center UKDW will be assigned at KPP Pratama Yogyakarta from 17 February 2020 – 27 March 2020. Leddy Teresa Kristianthy (Accounting, 2017) is the team coordinator for UKDW students. She is currently serving as the President of the Tax Study Group at UKDW.
