\"\"<\/a>Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) participated in the 2025 Indonesian Higher Education Summit (KPPTI 2025), hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology from November 19\u201321, 2025. The summit, which brought together university leaders from across the country, carried the theme \u201cImpactful Campuses: Consolidating and Strengthening the Higher Education Ecosystem Toward Indonesia Emas 2045.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event served as a strategic platform for strengthening collaboration, sharing best practices, and aligning national higher education priorities through synergy among public universities, private universities, religious and local higher education institutions, international partners, and other stakeholders. In his opening remarks, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Brian Yuliarto, outlined key policy directions, including the enhancement of the Impact-Based Higher Education Key Performance Indicators (IKU Diktisaintek Berdampak) as a driver of quality improvement.<\/p>\n

Designed as a consolidation forum, KPPTI 2025 encouraged cross-institutional dialogue to exchange best practices, develop an impact-based roadmap, and formulate joint strategies to strengthen the national higher education ecosystem. The recommendations produced are expected to support human capital development efforts toward Indonesia Emas 2045<\/em>.<\/p>\n

UKDW\u2019s delegation consisted of Rector Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih, ST., MT.; Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Research, Dr. Rosa Delima, S.Kom., M.Kom.; and Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, Information, and Innovation, Dr. Parmonangan Manurung, ST., MT. Throughout the summit, the UKDW team attended multiple parallel sessions addressing strategic topics such as good university governance, AI-enhanced learning, transformational leadership, and higher education governance.<\/p>\n

Rector Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih emphasized that UKDW\u2019s participation reflects the university\u2019s commitment to strengthening collaboration and advancing the quality of higher education. \u201cThis forum offers space for reflection and synergy as we face the challenges of a rapidly changing era. UKDW is committed to enhancing institutional quality, including impactful research and contributions toward achieving the SDGs,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Vice Rector Dr. Rosa Delima added that KPPTI provides a valuable opportunity for universities to gain updates and understand government policy directions related to teaching, research, and community engagement. \u201cHigher education institutions must remain adaptive and responsive to global developments. KPPTI gives a clear picture of the transformation ahead,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n

The three-day summit featured plenary sessions with speakers from government, academia, industry, media, and the Indonesian diaspora, as well as parallel discussions on current issues such as AI-driven learning, the role of university senates in governance, and transformational leadership. These sessions also enabled participants to learn from successful initiatives at other institutions and discuss challenges facing higher education in Indonesia.<\/p>\n

The insights gained from KPPTI 2025 are expected to help higher education leaders align institutional strategies with national policy directions.<\/p>\n

UKDW hopes that the recommendations and policy updates presented during the summit will inform its future programs and support the university\u2019s efforts to build a competitive, impactful, and sustainable higher education environment.<\/p>\n
