\"\"<\/a>The Informatics Program at the Faculty of Information Technology, Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta, has officially received the highest rating, \u201cExcellent\u201d Accreditation, from the Independent Accreditation Board for Informatics and Computing (LAM INFOKOM). The designation, granted under Decree No. 223\/SK\/LAM-INFOKOM\/Ak\/S\/VII\/2025, is valid from August 21, 2025, through August 17, 2030.<\/p>\n

This recognition marks a major milestone for the program, reaffirming UKDW\u2019s commitment to delivering high-quality education rooted in Christian values. The Informatics Program is now one of only four in the LLDIKTI Region V to achieve \u201cExcellent\u201d status, out of 25 programs in total.<\/p>\n

Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Restyandito, S.Kom., MSIS., expressed gratitude for the recognition, describing it as the result of a collective effort by faculty, students, and staff.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is more than an administrative credential\u2014it validates the quality of our teaching, research, and community service, all of which meet the highest standards. Earning \u2018Excellent\u2019 accreditation inspires us to keep innovating, producing graduates who are globally competitive and ready to contribute to the nation\u2019s progress. Head of the Informatics Program, Joko Purwadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., emphasized that the program reflects UKDW\u2019s commitment to addressing global challenges in the field of information technology.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur curriculum is designed not only to ensure graduates master science and technology, but also to enable them to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Our commitment is to produce graduates who are job-ready and make a direct impact in the industry,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Tracer study data shows that UKDW Informatics graduates typically secure their first job within three months of graduation, with a high level of relevance between their studies and career paths. This demonstrates how closely the program\u2019s curriculum aligns with industry needs.<\/p>\n

The Informatics Program is also recognized for its adaptability, particularly in integrating emerging fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), while fostering innovation and independence among students. Beyond technical expertise, the program instills UKDW\u2019s core values of kedutawacanaan<\/em>\u2014service, integrity, and humanity\u2014preparing graduates to become human-centered, collaborative technology professionals.<\/p>\n

With the \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation, UKDW\u2019s Informatics Program further cements its reputation as one of Indonesia\u2019s leading academic programs in information technology.<\/p>\n
