\"\"<\/a>YOGYAKARTA \u2014 Students from the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) and the Faculty of Business at Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta have once again achieved a notable accomplishment. Three student teams successfully secured funding in the prestigious 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM), organized by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.<\/p>\n

This success underscores UKDW\u2019s strong commitment to fostering student participation in innovation and science-based creative development. This year, the three funded teams\u2014comprising 13 students and guided by three faculty mentors\u2014each earned support under different PKM categories.<\/p>\n

The project titled \u201cDissolve \u2013 Multisensory Augmented Reality for Dyslexia: A Digital Innovation to Improve Services at PPDK Kemuning Kembar\u201d<\/strong> received funding under the PKM for Science and Technology Application (PKM-PI)<\/em> scheme.<\/p>\n

Another project, \u201cImproving Quality of Life for the Elderly at Panti Wredha Mulya through an Automatic Medication Reminder System\u201d<\/strong>, secured funding in the Community Service (PKM-PM)<\/em> category.<\/p>\n

The third proposal, \u201cSmartEcoWave: AI-IoT Integrated Wave and Solar Hybrid Energy Generator as a Solution for Equitable Infrastructure and National Electricity Diversification\u201d<\/strong>, was selected under the Constructive Idea Video (PKM-VGK)<\/em> scheme.<\/p>\n

UKDW Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, Information, and Innovation (WR III), Dr. Parmonangan Manurung, expressed pride in the achievement. \u201cI deeply appreciate the hard work and synergy of our PKM teams\u2014students, mentors, and the Student Affairs Office. Congratulations to those who secured funding. For those who didn\u2019t, don\u2019t lose heart. I hope even more proposals from UKDW succeed in the coming years,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Drs. Jong Jek Siang, M.Sc., PKM Coordinator at UKDW, echoed the sentiment. He praised the determination of students and mentors in overcoming numerous obstacles. \u201cI\u2019m proud of their perseverance, despite financial limitations, scheduling shifts, and uncertainty. This success proves UKDW\u2019s continued excellence and its ability to consistently compete in PKM year after year,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is a national platform designed to encourage the development of creative, innovative, and applicable student projects in response to societal challenges and in support of national development. The 2025 program runs from July 7 to November 3.<\/p>\n
