Scranton Women’s Leadership Center is excited to invite you to participate in the newly expanded Essay and Short Film Contest<\/strong>. This year, alongside the annual essay competition, the contest introduces a Short Film<\/strong> category, offering an exciting platform to showcase your creativity and perspectives on women\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n You will explore the theme,\u00a0\u201cAI and Women\u2019s Leadership,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0reflecting on how artificial intelligence can empower women leaders, transform leadership practices, or address issues of gender equality. You are also encouraged to explore challenges of AI, including algorithmic biases, ethical issues, and digital divides. Whatever aspect of AI you choose to write about, it is essential that your unique voice and perspective as an\u00a0Asian woman<\/strong>\u00a0are clearly reflected in your work, highlighting your story and insights.<\/p>\n This contest invites you to showcase the theme,\u00a0\u201cWomen\u2019s Leadership: Inspiring Women and Changing Community<\/strong>.\u201d This contest celebrates the stories of women who lead with courage, inspire others, and drive meaningful change in communities. You are encouraged to share stories from your own lives or those of people around you, highlighting real experiences that demonstrate the transformative power of women\u2019s leadership. It is essential to incorporate your perspective as an\u00a0Asian woman<\/strong>\u00a0to enrich the theme with your unique context and story.<\/p>\n UKDW students who wish to join this contest must meet these criteria:<\/p>\n Individual Winners:<\/strong><\/p>\n If you are selected as a winner, you will be recognized as a Scranton Scholar for 2025, receiving\u00a0a full year\u2019s tuition scholarship<\/strong>. Additionally, you will be awarded\u00a0a US$500 scholarship<\/strong>\u00a0for school-related expenses, such as fees, books, or housing. Both scholarships will be sent directly to your school on your behalf.<\/p>\n Team Projects:<\/strong><\/p>\n If your essay or film involves collaboration between faculty and students as part of an ongoing team project, your team will receive\u00a0US$2,000<\/strong>\u00a0to support the project\u2019s development. This prize will also be sent directly to your school.<\/p>\n Step 1.
