This was emphasized by UKDW Rector, Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih, S.T., M.T., during a partner gathering held at Artotel Suites Bianti Yogyakarta on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, as part of Duta Wacana\u2019s 62nd anniversary celebration.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih outlined the university’s strategic focus for the next five years, which includes strengthening institutional infrastructure and governance, enhancing its unique strengths and excellence, and gaining national recognition for quality. \u201cUKDW continues to prioritize sustainable partnerships and education, as reflected in our tagline: Sustainable Entrepreneurial Research University (SERU)<\/em>. We are also committed to contributing to global development by aligning our efforts with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Partnerships are essential for universities to thrive and achieve sustainable education. \u201cWe are fully open to collaboration and welcome the opportunity to work together in developing UKDW. Thank you to all our partners for their ongoing support, and we hope to continue building on these relationships in a sustainable way,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0UKDW\u2019s Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, Information, and Innovation, Dr. Parmonangan Manurung, S.T., M.T., IAI, highlighted the university’s student achievements, which span both academic and non-academic fields.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cThis year, UKDW received an excellent rating for student affairs. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this success, especially our partners, whose support plays a critical role in the development of UKDW, particularly in enhancing student affairs,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0As part of its commitment to producing well-rounded graduates, UKDW also offers a wide range of scholarships. \u201cIn addition to financial support, UKDW provides students with character education, training programs, and residence in university dormitories.
