In observance of the 79th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence, Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta held a solemn ceremony on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The event took place in front of the Didaktos Building and was led by UKDW Rector Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih, S.T., M.T. The ceremony honored the sacrifices of the nation\u2019s heroes and embraced the theme \u201cNew Nusantara, Advancing Indonesia.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih, S.T., M.T., as the ceremony\u2019s inspector, delivered a speech from the Governor of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X. The address reflected on three pivotal moments in Indonesia\u2019s history: the introduction of the New Capital City, the transition of national leadership, and the vision for Indonesia Golden 2045. The ceremony was attended by the UKDW academic community, marking a significant day in the university\u2019s calendar.
