Four student teams from Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta have successfully secured funding through the 2024 Entrepreneurial Student Development Program (P2MW) from the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa<\/span>),<\/span> under the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n UKDW consistently encourages its students to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus, fostering sustainable growth. The P2MW program\u00a0<\/span>is specifically designed<\/span>\u00a0to support student-run businesses with funding, mentorship, guidance, and coaching over 6-8 months.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Haryo Dimasto Kristiyanto, S.S., M.Sc., Head of the Centre of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Centrino) at UKDW, announced that the four successful teams comprise 17 students and<\/span>\u00a03\u00a0<\/span>faculty members. The teams received funding in three categories:\u00a0<\/span>Abhinaya\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Team\u00a0in the creative, arts, and culture industry;\u00a0<\/span>Adaptasi\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Team\u00a0in tourism and trade services;\u00a0<\/span>Cha Gya<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Team\u00a0in the food and beverage sector; and<\/span>\u00a0Maybemay<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Team\u00a0in the creative, arts, and culture industry.<\/span><\/p>\n “It is a joyful moment for UKDW to see our entrepreneurial groups win the P2MW 2024 funding. We greatly appreciate this achievement, which is made possible by the support of mentoring lecturers, the Office of Student Affairs, Alumni and Career Development (Biro III), Centrino, and everyone involved in the successful proposal submissions,” said Dr. Haryo.<\/span><\/p>\n Dra. Agustini Dyah Re<\/span>spati, MBA, the Coordinator of the 2024 UKDW P2MW Team, expressed gratitude for the fruitful outcome of their efforts. “All groups participating in P2MW 2024 demonstrated remarkable creativity and innovation. The business ideas from UKDW students are truly exceptional. Each group developed their business plans under the guidance of their supervising lecturers, showcasing their persistence, commitment, and team solidarity. We hope these entrepreneurial groups will become role models for other UKDW students to develop their ventures.
