Students with the 4th level of TOCFL will be highly likely to feel the Chinese class is too easy.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Program Fee:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">USD 2300 (Early Bird)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">USD 2400 (Regular)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Coverage of program fee:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">including the fees for registration, accommodation, Chinese language courses, culture classes, and field trips.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Not covered by program fee:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">flight tickets, visa, meals, and other personal expenses<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Payment Deadline: May 21, 2024<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Payment instructions will be sent to your email.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong>Number of participants:<\/strong> 26 &#8211; 40 students<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">** If the participants are fewer than 26 students, the program will be canceled (Tunghai University will inform university coordinators that the summer program will not be held around mid-May).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Registration steps for UKDW students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Fill out this form to request for university nomination: \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">You will need these documents to complete the form:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Student ID Card<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Passport (can be submitted later, but we recommend to get a passport as soon as possible)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Head-shot Photo<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Statement Letter signed by the student and his\/her parents or guardian (download template)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Nomination Letter from your Department\/Faculty (download template)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Academic Transcript<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Deadline for Early Bird: February 26, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Deadline for Regular: April 1, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">**We strongly suggest you register as early as possible because the host university might close the nomination earlier if the nominated students have reached 40 students in total.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> After you receive notification from OIA, complete the online application form <strong>before April 23, 2024 (Early Bird)<\/strong> and <strong>April 30, 2024 (Regular)<\/strong>.
