Senior leaders from Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta, including the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, Information, and Innovation, along with the Vice Rector for Human Resources Development, Promotion, and Networking, recently conducted an on-site review of the Duta Wacana Hospital construction project. Accompanied by representatives from the YPTK Duta Wacana board and the synod of 12 supporting churches, the group observed the project’s latest phase, which includes concrete pouring and pillar framing.

The construction of Duta Wacana Hospital is being carried out with rigorous standards for safety and sustainability, focusing on comprehensive water management and mitigation measures to create a secure and comfortable environment. The hospital’s structure is designed to comply with regulatory standards, ensuring durability and safety across its healthcare services.

Reflecting UKDW’s commitment to social responsibility, the project actively involves the local community in development efforts. This engagement seeks to ensure the project is environmentally friendly and delivers tangible benefits for residents, particularly in health, education, and social welfare.

Upon completion, Duta Wacana Hospital is expected to serve as a premier hub for health education and services in Yogyakarta, marking UKDW’s dedication to enhancing both healthcare and human resource development for the broader community. [putri/trans.drr]
