Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) and Institut Teknologi Dirgantara Adisucipto (ITDA) are dedicated to enhancing digitalization and advancing technology to elevate the quality of human resources and their respective institutions. The meeting, held at the Rectorat Meeting Room at UKDW on Tuesday (30/1), focused on discussions regarding the future implementation of collaboration following the Memorandum of Understanding previously established between the two institutions.

Present at the meeting were Drs. Suyoko, M.Sc., serving as Vice-Rector III of ITDA; Hero Wintolo, S.T., M.Kom., the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology at ITDA; Nurfi Ahmadi, S.T., M.Eng., the Dean of the Faculty of Aerospace Technology at ITDA, and their respective teams. From UKDW, Dr. Parmonangan Manurung attended as Vice-Rector III, accompanied by Dr. Phil Lucia Dwi Krisnawati, Head of the Office of Partnerships and Public Relations; Dr. Restyandito, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; and Matahari Bhakti Nendya, S.Kom., M.T., Vice-Dean III of the Faculty of Information Technology.

In the meeting, UKDW and ITDA explored potential collaborations for the near future, including organizing international conferences, internships, and journal management programs. ITDA plans to partner with UKDW as a co-host for an upcoming online international conference scheduled for December 2024. Discussions also focused on advancing aerospace applications and virtual reality, along with the initiation of collaborative projects between UKDW and ITDA. Both parties agreed to follow up on these topics. UKDW’s Faculty of Information Technology appreciates the collaboration proposals presented by ITDA.

Dr. Parmonangan Manurung expressed his hope that this meeting could mark the tangible collaborative initiatives in the field of information technology. Additionally, he pointed out the possibility of ITDA forging collaborations with other faculties at UKDW. “Through this authentic collaboration, the Rector of ITDA aspires to cultivate a strong relationship with UKDW, enabling future joint endeavors that prove mutually advantageous for both parties,” Drs.
