Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta held an End-of-Year Reflection and Christmas Celebration on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Koinonia Auditorium. Bringing the theme Be Strong in the Lord, the UKDW community engaged in a series of activities to live the spirit of Christmas, including Visits to the Retiree, Christmas Carols, Short Film Competitions, Children’s “Superhero” Photo Competitions, Office Decoration Competitions, Christmas Charity, and finally, the End-of-Year Reflection and Christmas Celebration.
The Christmas Worship came in the form of cantatas with choir offerings performed by faculties and offices within UKDW. Meanwhile, three female pastors from the Faculty of Theology delivered a reflection through the personification of the figures Mary, Elisabeth, and the Angel. They are Rev. Rena Sesaria Yudhita, M.Th. as Mary, Rev. Jennifer Fresy Porielly Pelupessy-Wowor, M.A. as Elisabeth, and Rev. Devina Widiningsih, M.Th. as an Angel. [ukdw.ac.id/Eng.drr]
