“To lead and to become a visionary leader, we need to understand the evolution of higher education and to have accurate data, clear vision – mission – goals – targets, specific, measurable, feasible, and relevant strategic plan and operational plan. It is also important to plan in a specific timeline, conduct evaluation and revision with unique selling points, execute vision – mission – goals – targets, aim for continuous improvement, and involve God in our every work,” she explained.

Meanwhile the Executive Director of Yayasan Perguruan Tinggi Kristen (YPTK) Petra Prof. Dr. (HC) Rolly Intan, Dr.Eng. as the second speaker talked about “Problem and Challenges: Relation between Leaders and Higher Education Foundation”. Internal conflict can destroy a higher education institution as opposed to external conflict which usually will strengthen the institution.

“Building trust is the fuel of leadership. Trust is essential to form a strong team. Besides, leaders and the foundation also need to build strong relations and friendships through leadership that strives to serve people,” he concluded.
