UKDW and Prodia Partner to Advance Medical Research and Diagnostics

YOGYAKARTA, July 15, 2025 — The Faculty of Medicine at Duta Wacana Christian University (UKDW) and PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk have signed a strategic partnership to strengthen collaboration in medical education, research, and diagnostic innovation.

The agreement, signed by FK UKDW Dean dr. The Maria Meiwati Widagdo, Ph.D., and Prodia President Director Dr. Dewi Muliaty, M.Si., aims to bridge academia and industry by expanding access to advanced diagnostic technologies and fostering joint research initiatives.

As part of the launch, a talk show was held at UKDW discussing the role of mass spectrometry in metabolomics and personalized nutrition—highlighting its growing relevance in modern healthcare. Prodia also introduced its research initiatives to UKDW faculty and students.

UKDW Dean Maria Widagdo welcomed the partnership, noting it will enhance student access to real-world laboratory experiences and support curriculum development aligned with industry needs. Prodia’s Director of Business & Marketing, Dr. Indriyanti Rafi Sukmawati, said the collaboration is key to accelerating innovation and building healthcare capacity through shared expertise.
