Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta has been recognized as a Bronze Award recipient at the Anugerah Kerja Sama (Collaboration Award) for the Private University category, in the subcategory for Best Collaboration Report Management (Laporkerma), awarded by Indonesia’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek). Dr. Rosa Delima, S.Kom., M.Kom., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Research at UKDW, accepted the award on behalf of the university at the Anugerah Diktisaintek 2024 ceremony on December 13, 2024, at Graha Diktisaintek in Jakarta. The event was attended by Indonesia’s Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, alongside other government officials.
The Anugerah Diktisaintek is an annual event that honors the contributions and achievements of various stakeholders, including universities, Higher Education Service Institutes (LLDikti), business and industry partners, government agencies, and media, in advancing the transformation of Indonesia’s higher education sector.
In his speech, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro, commended the awardees for their commitment to supporting the ministry’s initiatives. “This award is a token of our appreciation for your hard work in driving the transformation and reform of higher education,” said Prof. Satryo.
He also emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy between the government, universities, and all stakeholders as crucial to enhancing the quality of education and strengthening Indonesia’s research and innovation ecosystem.
Rev. Wahju Satria Wibowo, Ph.D., Vice Rector for Human Resource Development, Promotion, and Networking at UKDW, noted that the award acknowledges UKDW’s excellence in managing collaboration reports, particularly those organized by the Office of Partnerships and Public Relations in collaboration with various university units. “Collaboration is essential for universities, and one of the ways we demonstrate this is through precise and comprehensive reporting,” he said.
Dr. Lucia Dwi Krisnawati, Head of the Office of Partnerships and Public Relations at UKDW, expressed her gratitude to the entire academic community for their support in achieving this recognition. “We are deeply grateful for everyone’s support, which has enabled us to maintain our status as the Bronze Winner in the Best Collaboration Report Management (Laporkerma) Subcategory for 2024. This is our third award, and it represents a collective achievement. Without the collaboration of the various departments and supporting offices at UKDW, we wouldn’t have been able to secure this recognition,” she said. [humasukdw/trans.drr]
