In alignment with its commitment to the three core missions of higher education, Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta has strengthened its collaboration with SMA Kristen Harapan and SMK Wira Harapan Denpasar. On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, a meeting took place between UKDW and the two Bali-based schools in Denpasar.

Following a productive discussion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between UKDW’s Rector and the principals of SMA Kristen Harapan and SMK Wira Harapan Denpasar. The MoU formalizes their partnership in advancing the three missions of higher education: research, education, and community service. Additionally, a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) was signed between UKDW’s Admissions and Promotion Unit and the two schools.

Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih, S.T., M.T., Rector of UKDW, expressed her support for the MoU and Cooperation Agreement, underscoring the importance of collaboration between educational institutions to improve quality. She emphasized her hope that this partnership would continue and lead to the successful implementation of mutually beneficial programs.

Veronica Tiara Kusuma, S. Kom., CPS, Head of UKDW’s Office of Admissions and Promotion, highlighted the value of synergy between institutions in providing educational services to students. She reiterated that UKDW is eager to contribute to the schools by sharing knowledge and offering guidance to both teachers and students. “There are many areas for potential collaboration in the future,” she added.

The following day, UKDW also signed an MoU with SMAS K Santo Yoseph Denpasar, further cementing their commitment to the three missions of higher education.
