Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) Yogyakarta has been awarded a grant under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s Learning Innovation Research Program, recognizing the university’s achievement of meeting 8 Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS). This grant serves as an acknowledgment of UKDW’s efforts to enhance the quality of higher education.

     UKDW was named among 290 private universities across Indonesia to receive the grant, according to an official letter from the Ministry’s Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Dikti Ristek). The funding will support the development of smart classrooms and the integration of technology in learning, aiming to foster innovative teaching methods and improve the overall learning experience.

     Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih, Rector of UKDW, attended the contract signing ceremony on November 1, 2024, at The Sultan Hotel & Residence in Jakarta. During the event, the Rector expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to advancing higher education.

     “This recognition reflects UKDW’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of education and driving innovations that benefit both our students and the broader community,” said Dr. Wiyatiningsih. “We are excited to use this grant to enhance our research programs and develop more creative, relevant approaches to teaching and learning.”

     With this support, UKDW aims to further strengthen its technology-based educational infrastructure, expand access to quality education, and enhance the global competitiveness of its graduates.
