Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) successfully hosted a training session titled “Reorienting Organizational Performance Management” from October 21-23, 2024, at the Koinonia Auditorium. The event was organized through a collaboration between the Rectorate, the Ofice of Human Resource Development (PSDM), and the Campus Ministry (LPKKSK). Sponsored by UKDW alumnus Yusuf Gunawan, the training aimed to improve organizational performance management, making it more effective and aligned with institutional growth.
The training focused on strengthening the understanding and application of UKDW’s core values: Obedience, Integrity, Excellence, and Service. Participants were encouraged to integrate these values into their performance management processes, fostering a work culture rooted in compliance, honesty, high standards, and service excellence. The training also emphasized the importance of continuous innovation and leadership development across both structural and operational roles.
UKDW Rector, Dr.-Ing. Wiyatiningsih, S.T., M.T., highlighted the need for reorienting performance management practices to ensure all departments contribute effectively to the university’s overarching goals. Human resources expert Hendri Iswahyudi led the sessions, covering result-based performance management strategies, change management, and the critical role of leadership in driving organizational success.
The training was organized into three segments: the first on October 21 for Deans and Senior Leadership, the second on October 22 for Faculty, and the final session on October 23 for the University Staff. Each group engaged with core performance management concepts and best practices, aimed to enhance practical skills in pursuit of UKDW’s vision of excellence and sustainability.
This training was designed not only to introduce new insights but also to equip participants with actionable skills for effective performance management that supports the institution’s long-term objectives. [penta/trans.drr]
