The Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) at Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) has celebrated a significant achievement with the selection of two of its lecturers as course instructors for the ACUCA Micro Degree Program (MDP) 2024. Halim Budi Santoso, Ph.D., and Matahari Bhakti Nendya, M.T., will lead a short course as part of this international initiative aimed at expanding academic perspectives and introducing cutting-edge technologies to a global audience.

The Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA) is a network of Christian higher education institutions across Asia, with members in countries such as Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, and India.

The course, titled “Metaverse and Multisensory Servicescape: Creating Virtual Environments to Leverage Customer Experiences,” will explore innovative concepts and applications. Dr. Halim Budi Santoso will delve into Multisensory Servicescape, integrating various sensory elements to enrich user experiences. Matahari Bhakti Nendya, M.T., will focus on the technical development of the Metaverse, applying multisensory approaches to enhance digital interactions.

The ACUCA Micro Degree Program 2024 offers students an opportunity to engage with leading experts and build international connections, equipping them with skills relevant to the evolving digital landscape.
