UKDW Taekwondo Club Excels at Bhayangkara Presisi National Championship 2024

Four students from Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW) in Yogyakarta showcased remarkable talent at the prestigious Taekwondo National Championship Bhayangkara Presisi 2 Kapolda DIY Cup 2024. The event took place at the UNY Sports Hall in Yogyakarta from June 21-23, 2024.

The UKDW Taekwondo team achieved outstanding results, securing 2 gold medals and 2 bronze medals. Steven Michael Arbyanto and Bintang Holy Junior, both from the Divinity Studies Department, clinched gold in the Senior Men’s Poomsae category. Bronze medals were awarded to Kherubima Esthepanosa Arun, also from the Divinity Studies Department, in the Senior Women’s Poomsae category, and Justin Beltsazar Alfin Reza from the Management Department in the Senior Men’s Kyorugi u54kg category.
