Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) is a scholarship scheme by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to fund Indonesian students for a one-semester-mobility program at top universities and reputable industries overseas. Offering two schemes for undergraduate and vocational students, IISMA will expose Indonesian students to international academic and cultural diversity.

Important: Only students nominated by their home university can apply for IISMA. Request university-level nomination letter by filling out this form: (deadline is extended to February 14, 2024)

Application Procedure for UKDW Students
- Student consults with his/her Department regarding the courses that he/she would like to choose and requests a Nomination Letter from the Department (signed by the Head of Department).
- To be nominated by the university, the student must submit the required documents, including Nomination Letter from his/her Department, through (deadline: February 5, 2023).
- Biro IV will proceed with university nomination for eligible students.
- Student submits his/her application to IISMA portal https://iisma.kemdikbud.go.id/
Requirements and Document Templates
General requirements:
To register for the IISMA 2024 program, students must:
1. Is an Indonesian citizen who resides in Indonesia and not have dual citizenship status
2. Maximum age of 24 years on 1 July 2024
3. Active student with Minimum GPA: 3.0 (out of 4.0), proven by latest academic transcript
4. Nominated by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs
5. Never take semester leave (cuti)
6. Do not take part in other Independent Campus programs while attending the IISMA program
7. Never participated in more than one Kampus Merdeka program before
registering for the IISMA program
8. Do not receive living expenses/living allowance from the Ministry of Education and Culture and Technology Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) from other programs while taking part in the IISMA program
9. Never violate laws in Indonesia
10. Willing to obey all rules and participate in all activities specified by the IISMA program.
Specific Requirements for IISMA Undergraduate:
- Undergraduate students in 4th semester or 6th semester when applying for the IISMA program
- Minimum English Proficiency Score:
TOEFL iBT: 78
IELTS: 6.0

- Letter of Statement Signed and Stamped (bermeterai) by Applicant and Parents/Guardians (download the template)

- Letter of Statement as a Scholarship Recipient from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Republic of Indonesia (download the template)
- English proficiency certificate (IELTS/TOEFL-iBT/Duolingo/TOEIC).
- Academic transcript (in English).
- Scanned Color Copy of Indonesian Identity Card (KTP)
