Inbound Mobility Programs

UKDW welcomes students from around the world to join academic and cultural exchange programs at UKDW. Besides strengthening the partnership with other universities and institutions, participants could also improve their individual qualities and professional development. Our Inbound Mobility Programs include:

• UKDW SUMMER PROGRAM

UKDW Summer Program is a two-week program that combines academic learning and cultural activities. We invite students from our partner institutions to learn and share ideas about a specific theme while they also get the opportunity to explore Yogyakarta and the surrounding area as well as the culture, the language, and the people. Collaborating with our partner university in Bali, since 2022, UKDW has been conducting summer camp annually with the theme “Visual Ethnography,” which combines online sessions and a one-week onsite session in Bali, and a one-week onsite session in Yogyakarta. The whole program spans one month and offers three credits for students.  

• JOINT PROGRAM WITH OUR PARTNER UNIVERSITY

We collaborate with our partner universities overseas to conduct a short-term program at UKDW to create an environment where UKDW students and our partner university students can learn together and interact both in academic and cultural settings. Among the programs are Global Education Experiences (GlobEEs) with Chang Jung Christian University Taiwan and Global Leadership Program in Indonesia with Hanseo University, South Korea. 

• TAILOR-MADE PROGRAM

This is a short-term program designed based on the need or the request of our partner universities.

• STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Students from UKDW partner universities can apply for an exchange program for one or two semesters.
