
Elke Santa Amesa, a student of Product Design Department, Faculty of Architecture and Design UKDW successfully seized an award at the 2nd Indonesia Industrial Design Student Award for her design called 3D Coloring Puzzle. The competition was conducted by ADPII (Indonesian Industrial Product Design Association) at Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA).
Elke received Good Design KKNI Level 6 on Design with Educational Purpose category. According to Elke, 3D Coloring Puzzle is an educational game that aims to introduce colors and the characteristics of building in a specific country. There are two themes of shops she has developed, which are Japanese theme and Indonesian theme.
She further explained that this educational game can help children to develop their kinesthetic intelligence through various activities such as puzzles, coloring, and decorating. Besides, this product can also be an alternative for young people for relaxation as the activities in the game are designed to be calming and rewarding.
